Ashford Visual Artists (AVA) is an association of professional visual artists connected with the Borough of Ashford and its rural areas. Founded in 1999, AVA aims to develop the practice and appreciation of the visual arts in the region by promoting exhibitions
and events. Members include artists in the fields of painting, photography, video, sound and other installation, metal work, graphics, textiles sculpture, jewellery, printmaking, pottery and ceramics.

- Charing Guild of Players
The Guild usually produce three plays a year in February, May and November. Rehearsals are held in The Barn on Mondays and Thursdays during the preceding eight to ten weeks
